Coronavirus is more serious than China is saying

This week the Coronavirus as reached the US with the first person in Washington state. I find this interesting cause I live in the states and work in the biology field. I am no way a report on the matter but just would like to talk about it. I knew it was just a matter of time that it would get there. I know that China tries to tell medical professionals to dismiss their patients’ symptoms as a common cold to keep what they call as the “Social Order” of the country. The Chinese believe when social order is disrupted then anarchy will start. For their leaders, this means they lose their place in power and financials. So better downgrade any disease so people still go to work and live normally, without panicking.

After taking one Epidemiologist class I find the spread of disease interesting. Covering up the seriousness of this disease will only help it fuel the spread of it. From Laowhy86’s video about it, I learned how and why the government covers this up. I also learned the culture of the Chinese people thought his experience living there. I advise you to watch his video by clicking on link on his name for more information first hand. The Wet Markets have horrible food safety conditions. A lot of people still reject western medicine, preferring the traditional Chinese medicine. China has the world’s biggest population and when people travel in or out of China that’s when the disease will change from a epidemic to a pandemic. With it being the Chinese New Year this week, more people are traveling. A lot of the city  Corporate workers are taking this holiday to take time off and go see family in areas out side the city. This giving the virus more chance to spread.
I find some hope in the madness. I work for a DNA manufacturing company my San Diego branch had the chance of making manufactured DNA of coronavirus to have scientist further test the disease. Yes it’s just another order through our manufacturing facility, but I find it cool that my company gets to help scientist race to control this disease.
I enjoy some sick humor, pun not intended. So here some memes.
